Carstairs Area Tornado Releif Concert
July 29, 2023 - The Mountain View Tornado Benefit Concert held on Saturday has raised more than $100,000 for the victims of the Canada Day disaster. Held at the Carstairs Memorial Complex, the event featured musical performances from Blake Reid, Liz Christiansen, Grady Brown, the Travelling Mabels, Dustin Farr, the Prairie Mountain Fiddlers, and Nolan Ray. Every artist donated their time for the event. EK Productions was proud to organize all the concert production, Lighting, Sound, Video, and crew, all donated from multiple vendors.
World's longest hockey game 2022
The longest marathon playing ice hockey is 261 hr 15 sec, and was achieved by Hockey Marathon for the Kids (Canada) in Chestermere, Alberta, Canada from 31 March – 11 April 2022.
This is the third time the participants have set the Guinness World Records title for longest marathon playing ice hockey, first achieving the record in May 2012. The attempt raised $850,000 CAD for the Alberta Children's Hospital Foundation.
Didsbury / Mountainview Colts
Not all old lights go to the dumpster, sometimes they live the rest of their life in a county sports complex. EK Productions has donated equipment and man-time to donating the Mountianview Colts an intro light show.
